Quality Management System

As a small company, we need to keep overhead low, so we must perform internal activities efficiently. To solve this problem, we created a total quality management system (QMS) which is comprised of a set of documents that describe what our internal processes are, how we perform them, and what the artifacts are for each process.

There are two separate functions of the system - one for internal processes and one for customer delivery processes. The QMS for Internal Processes enables us to do our business repeatably and with high-quality. The QMS for Customer Processes enables us to deliver our mobile application development projects consistently.

The main components of QMS for each functional area are shown below:

  • Deliverable Templates
  • Deliverable Quality Assurance Review
  • Quality Review

Over the next year we aim to add more templates and processes as we broaden and deepen the scope of our efforts. We are also building an integrated intranet site that will allow team members to collaborate securely in real-time.
